Verify Your Exchange Provider

Verify Your Exchange Provider

The Microsoft Exchange email and calendar integration in AdvisorEngine CRM can work with a few different Exchange hosts. To verify which type of Exchange setup your CRM is currently using, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Site Navigation bar, navigate to Settings > Firm Profile.
  2. Select the Firm Preferences tab.
  3. Click Edit in the upper right.
  4. Click Setup on the Email Configuration > Provider Setup line.
  5. Compare your Service URL with the following list to determine your provider:
    • https://outlook.office365.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx: Microsoft 365
    • https://mail.smarshconnect.com/ews/exchange.asmx: Smarsh
    • Any other URL: Private firm-based Exchange

Note that this process is only valid if your firm has already set up email and calendar integration already. To determine your exchange provider otherwise, speak directly to your IT.
