Nitrogen: Overview and Setup

Overview/Features

AdvisorEngine CRM can import new Nitrogen Records and export new Records to Nitrogen. Firms can also view Nitrogen portfolio and target risk icons on linked Records within AE CRM. Single sign on (SSO) is available from the linked CRM Record to the Nitrogen Record.

Note: Only Advisor accounts in Nitrogen can be linked using this integration. Assistants will not be able to enable the integration or view scores in the CRM.

Setup

Nitrogen is set up and enabled on a per-user basis. Each User will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to User > View Profile > User Preferences.
  2. Click Enable Nitrogen Integration on the Nitrogen line. A new tab or window will open.
  3. You will be prompted for your Nitrogen credentials. Enter your Email and Password for Nitrogen.
  4. Click Login. You will be prompted to give AdvisorEngine access to your Nitrogen account.
  5. Click Allow. You will be returned to AE CRM with a success message. You can close the tab.

Import and Export

Your Nitrogen integration with AE CRM is now enabled. Next, navigate to the Import area to match your Nitrogen Records to your CRM Records. See Nitrogen: Import and Match for details.
