Modifying Recurring Actions
Recurring Action Definitions must be modified within the Record they are connected to.
Editing Recurring Action Definitions
- Open the Record that the Recurring Action Definition belongs to.
- Navigate to Workflows > Recurring Action Definition.
- Click Edit on the Recurring Action Definition you want to modify. The Workflow Editor will open.
- Make any changes you need to the template content by editing the individual Action Cards.
- Click the recurrence pattern under the Workflow Name to open the Recurrence Editor and change the recurrence pattern.
- Click Save And Close when finished.
Deleting Recurring Action Definitions
Deleting a Recurring Action Definition is permanent. It will also remove your ability to easily see the history of the Actions it created. AdvisorEngine recommends ending the Recurring Action Definition by editing the Range of Recurrence rather than deleting it when it is no longer needed.
However, if a Recurring Action Definition does need to be deleted, it can be done with the following steps:
- Open the Record that the Recurring Action Definition belongs to.
- Navigate to Workflows > Recurring Action Definition.
- Click Delete on the Recurring Action Definition you want to remove. You will be asked to confirm the deletion.
