Generally, logging in to AdvisorEngine CRM should be as simple as navigating to crm.advisorengine.com and entering your username (email address) and password.
However, depending on the security settings handed down from your CRM Administrator, there may be other steps involved.
If Challenge Questions are enabled, you will be prompted to create a Challenge Question the first time you log in.
Future logins will require you to answer the question after entering your password. Any capitalization, punctuation, and spacing must match your original answer exactly.
If your firm has enabled Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), you will be prompted whether to send your MFA code by email, text, or phone call. After entering the code you receive, you will be logged in.
If you enter the wrong password five times in a row, your user account will be locked for 1 hour. You cannot log in and no changes (even by Admins) can be made to your password until the lock is removed. Have your CRM Administrator clear the Locked out for login attempt failures checkbox on your User Profile before proceeding.
If you have forgotten your password and are not yet Locked Out, you may be able to reset it by email with thelink on the login screen. This will send an email to your username with a password reset link. This feature may be disabled by your CRM Administrator, in which case only that person can reset your password.
Logging out manually is as simple as clicking the user settings icon in the upper right of AE CRM and selecting. However, there are situations where you may be logged out automatically.
AE CRM will automatically log you out if any of the following conditions are met:
