Identifying EU Addresses for GDPR Compliance

In compliance with EU privacy laws and AdvisorEngine policies, addresses within the EU cannot be stored in AdvisorEngine CRM. The following steps will help you identify these addresses for removal.

Locating EU Addresses in AE CRM

The quickest way to locate these addresses is through a simple Grid filter for the associated countries in the Record Workspace.

  1. Navigate to the Record Workspace.
  2. Use the Column Chooser to add the columns Address Country Person 1, Address Country Person 2, and Address Country Record to the Grid. (Search for "country" in the column chooser to locate these quickly.)
  3. Use the Column Filters to filter the country columns one at a time for any EU countries. If you received communication from AE stating which countries to remove, you can search those first.
    • Be sure to use "contains" matching.
    • Only use one filter at a time and clear the filter before applying another one.
  4. Open each affected Record and delete the associated address.
