Upload for Mass Changes
We are looking for an easier way to identify the records we want to use the mass change feature on, such as uploading a spreadsheet or pasting the unique identifier.
On the upload tab, you could have a dropdown with the data set we are trying to identify: records, assets, opportunities, etc. Then, for each data set, we would have to identify the applicable identifier.
For example:
- Records - UIRecordID, RecordID, or Record Name.
- Assets - Account Number, AssetID, or UIAssetID
We can then navigate to the appropriate section, such as records, and use the mass change tools available using the uploaded list we have identified.
The second way I would like to use this would be to change data in the data tables.
On the spreadsheet, the first field is the unique identifier, then whatever field we are trying to update.
