Here's an issue I'm sure many of your have encountered...
On a number of occassions, I'll try
using the search feature and it doesn't pull up any results. For example, I tried
"soc", "social", "security" for a client and it
only pulled up the most recent action where that phrase came up. But that
phrase has happened many times under that clients' record actions.
I asked AE support and got the following lame response:
"Currently, searching action notes via filter or
quick search will only look into the first 500 characters of the Action Notes
area. We are aware of this limitation and are working to expand it, but at this
time we do not have any timeline on when that would happen. You also can export
the grid with the "full" notes and use a search in Excel, although we
are aware that is not an ideal solution."
I responded "Why would this not be higher priority? In this age of AI and advanced
search capabilities, this is a major downfall for AdvisorEngine. I'm sure
Salesforce doesn't have a 500 character limitation. I would like to see AE make
this a priority to get it working for all characters within the next quarter.
Can that be done??? ""
And they came back with another pretty lame reply: "I will definitely pass this along to
our product team and my supervisor has been alerted of your concern. Also, I
would encourage you to post a Feature
Request on our Community Page. The community page allows other users to
support your requests, is managed by the product team, and used to build out
the roadmap for new features."
So if anyone here wants to support this request, please do. Let AE know that they need to step up their game.
Thanks for any support,
