When adding an opportunity/asset/insurance, etc, I should be able to edit my UDFs the same as any of the other information on the screen, without having to "edit" that section. I frequently hit the "save" button at the top of the screen after adding all applicable information, but if I didn't hit "save" on the UDFs themselves, then all of that information is deleted.
