Make Sub actions easier to Add
When you complete an Action with a dependent Action, the "Add Workflow Step(s) pop up window comes up. I have to scroll down in the case of multiple Actions within a workflow to find the Action I want to Add to verify that is the action I want to add then scroll back up to the top to click on the "Add Workflow Step(s)" Button. It would be nice if the next action(s) to be assigned showed up at the top of the pop-up window to avoid scrolling or have the header lock so when I scroll down the button follows me down.
I think instead of the Add Workflow Step(s) pop up window I would prefer the Sub actions be displayed on the Record Actions Workflow screen, greyed out. Then when you complete the parent action the sub actions light up to be added. At this point, it would be nice to have multiple scenarios "either/or" options for sub actions. For example, I have an action for a client meeting workflow called "Did FA meet with Client" at this point, there are two workflow outcomes (currently, scheduled separately and not part of the main workflow). Yes, Client met with the Advisor, implement the Post Portfolio Review Workflow OR Client did not come in (Canceled, Forgot, whatever the excuss) Now implement the "Reschedule Meeting Workflow". Another example is a client withdrawal we have different workflows for Sending a Check; Electronic Funds Transfer; Wire; Journal to another account; etc.
