Emails from Junxure - streamlining the process

I created a workflow for prospective clients. One of the actions involves sending an email. While the merge function will fill in the email address and complete fields in the body of the email, it would be very helpful if I could specify in the action which template to use, fill in the subject line so I don't have to, and record the email automatically to the action. Now I have two actions, one to send an email and one with the sent email.
