Add Full Legal Name as a Field under a Person's Profile or Allow Custom Fields for the Person Record
It would be really nice to have a field for "Legal Name" or "Full Legal Name" under a person's profile info because sometimes this is different than what we want to have listed for the name that pulls into a person's record. (For example, a client's full legal name might be William Joseph Smith Jr, but we may want to have have his record listed as just "Joseph Smith" with the nickname "Joe" because he rarely uses "William" or the "Jr".) We would also want the ability to add this field to the person's summary card for quick reference. It would also allow us to just list the middle initial in the "Middle Name" field, but still be able to see the full middle name in the "Legal Name" field.
Additionally (or alternatively-instead of "Legal Name"), having a field for "Aliases" would be nice. This is information we provide on all new account forms for our primary custodian. This is also where we could easily see previous names for clients who've gotten remarried or changed their name.
We used to list the full legal name and aliases (and mother's maiden name) in the 'Important Info' note box on the Personal
Info tab in the Desktop version, but now it's not as easy to see/find
since the notes are listed as a separate tab in the CRM version.
If adding a new standard field in the name section isn't an option, then it would be nice to be able to create Custom User Fields for a Person's record (not just the household/main record) and then have the ability to add those custom fields to a person's summary card.
