Action and FYI Alert

We are looking to have the Junxure tab flash or read "New Alert (1)" when there is a new action or FYI assigned to us. Or we need to have an alert that pops up even when we are on another screen instead of Junxure. We loved that feature of Junxure desktop. Please let me know of any upcoming enhancements that would help our case.
